Your privacy matters to us. RealVerify only collects and processes information needed to provide scanning, security, account and related app features.

Uploaded Content

Images and URLs submitted for scanning are processed to provide analysis and security results.

Images associated with a scan may remain stored while the scan is available in your Scan History or Saved items.

When you delete an image scan, the associated image is also deleted, unless that scan has been saved.

Scan History

Your Scan History is stored so you can access your previous scan results.

You can:

1. Delete individual Scan History items.

2. Clear your entire Scan History.

Clearing Scan History does not delete items that you have separately added to Saved. Saved items remain available until you remove them separately or delete your account.

Saved Items

Saved items are managed separately from Scan History.

When you remove a saved image scan, the associated image is also deleted if it is not kept anywhere else in the app.

Saved items and associated content are also deleted when you delete your account.

Third Party Processing

To provide analysis and security features, submitted content may be processed by third party service providers, including OpenAI for AI based analysis and VirusTotal for URL security analysis.

These providers process data according to their applicable terms, privacy policies and data retention practices.

Device Information

RealVerify may use a Device ID to recognise your device, especially when you are not signed in, and to manage free scans and credits.

When you are signed in, your account is used as your main identifier.

Delete Account

You can permanently delete your RealVerify account.

Deleting your account removes your account information and associated application data, including Scan History, Saved items and associated uploaded images, subject to any information that RealVerify is required to retain for legal, security or regulatory purposes.

Advertising

RealVerify may use Google AdMob to show rewarded ads to free users.

Advertising and consent are handled in accordance with applicable privacy requirements and Google’s relevant policies and settings.

Subscriptions & Payments

Premium subscriptions and other eligible purchases are processed through the applicable payment provider or app store.

RealVerify does not directly store your full payment card details.

Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding your personal data, including the right to request access, correction or deletion of your information.

You can also delete your account and manage your Scan History and Saved items directly through the app.
